Shodair Children’s Hospital has long been a critical resource in Montana—offering psychiatric care for children and adolescents, as well as a nationally recognized genetics program that serves patients of all ages. Despite their wide-reaching services, many Montanans still believed Shodair only served children.
To shift public perception and unify their services under a single, powerful message, Shodair needed a full-scale rebrand. I was proud to collaborate with their team to help craft and communicate their new identity—one that reflects hope, support, and lifelong care for patients across Montana.

The Goal
Reposition Shodair’s brand to communicate its full scope of services and reinforce its mission to support, stabilize, and improve the lives of those in crisis.
The Solution
We developed a new messaging platform that more accurately reflected who Shodair serves—and why their work matters. The campaign brought this narrative to life across multiple channels, including social media, video, photography, and web. A 30-second TV commercial helped humanize their mission, while custom photography gave the brand a relatable, real-world look. We also restructured their website to better reflect their full range of services and guide users to the right information quickly.

Since the launch of Shodair’s rebrand and updated website, the results speak for themselves. User acquisition has increased by 52% in the current calendar year, and organic search traffic is up 84%. Notably, traffic to the Genetics page has grown by 57.38%, now ranking as the fifth most visited page on the site—surpassing even Psychiatry. These numbers highlight the power of targeted SEO and intentional site structure in guiding users to Shodair’s full range of services.
